Shielded, yet close to nature, Sami Parliament and other famous buildings, sites and cultural activities of various kinds.
We we are not far away from hunting and fishing, hiking, shops, shopping centers, and it is only 20 km to the Finnish border.
In winter, there is a snowmobile trail right up to the cabins, so the basis for snowmobile safari is excellent! Skiing enthusiasts can use the same track to get down the river ice, and on to the many ski slopes in the area!
Grillhut, lavvu, sauna and spaThe grillhut is at the disposal of our guests where you can prepare your own food over a fire, or you can order traditional food that we serve to you in true Sami way.
In the sauna and the outdoor spa (jacuzzi), you can enjoy the winter sky, the northern lights, and the lights of the old city,
and in summer midnight you can enjoy the midnight sun and the view of the town.
We organize snowmobile safaris in winter. You can also rent snowmobiles and outer garments. Summer or winter, there are many other activities in Karasjok
More about Karasjok Camping ASThe campground was established in 1963 with 3 cabins and outdoor-toilet on the lower plateau.
Today, the campsite consists of 22 cabins, camping area
room for 50 campers and caravans, two sanitary buildings, TV room, large BBQ hut, playground, Finnish sauna with panoramic windows
and jacuzzi up to 8 people. We also have wireless internet covering parts of the campsite.
